We are not interested in yoga or the yoga studio as a commodity, brand, or competition. We are grass-roots. We are community-based. We are non-commercial, liberal and organic.

Yoga Classes

    Hatha Yoga

    In Sanskrit, ha means “sun” and tha means ” moon”. Thus, “union” of the Sun and the Moon, or Sun and Moon Yoga. This class focuses on deepening your practice and creating inner balance by working in poses with attention to alignment, breathing, body awareness and feeling.

    Vinyasa Yoga

    A free-flowing blend of dynamic and alignment-based Hatha yoga, combining breath and movement with a variety of sequenced postures. 

  • Restorative Yoga

    Simple, supported Hatha yoga postures held for longer periods of time focus on releasing deep tension and restoring energy and balance.

    Yin Yoga

    Unlike active yoga (Ashtanga or Vinyasa), which focuses on strengthening muscles, Yin yoga is a slower, deeper practice of holding postures for longer to stretch the connective tissues that form our joints.

    Venus Yoga

    Founded by Sara Shivani and based on the feminine roots of yoga, Venus Yoga offers women and girls specific self-care practices tailored to the needs of the female body and mind.

    Slow Flow Yoga

    A dynamic asana practice that  incorporates circular, fluid motion that warms up the joints and safely brings awareness to alignment, subtle body, and your energy.

    Ashtanga Yoga

    Ashtanga Yoga synchronizes a set sequence of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (yogic breathing) and the practice of mula and uddiyana bandhas (energy locks) to produce a purifying internal heat.
